Doesn't matter that someone cut the person off in front of you, or that Ruldolph the Red Nosed Reindeer was flying too low, or that tree made a sudden move toward the road, the cops will cite you for following too close. So look on the bright side, you didn't get a a ticket and it sounds like the truck driver is going to leave you alone.
